I re-decorate my home and my studio as I would try on many different pretty dresses, the possibilities are endless as is my taste and my mood. I started making blankets when we arrived here in France 4 years ago, now it has become my go to keeping my hands busy activity. They are warm, often unexpectedly colourful and thankfully washable. My line of blankets will début this November. Me being the original sinner in all things; smoking, loving bacon working in producing luxury leather and fur fashions in New York, am now 100% against using leather in the fashion industry. Remembering buying skins in the fashion district testing them for smoothness, softness and blemishes I saw the animal only as an abstract, as far removed from pain and suffering as one can imagine. Working on the sales floor on 5th Avenue, being asked if the bag was lamb or caviar, and me pitching in of the plusses of owning either the lamb, that was more costly, or the caviar which was more durable... That said there is absolutely NO need for leather. I will wear my shoes until they fall apart as well as my leather bags, but I will not buy or make anything that includes leather. Hopefully like smoking, using leather, fur and skins will fade out and be a thing of the past. xEve
"The most amazing purchase of all time, you guys are nuts for selling it - R.H" "WOW - even better in person. It is its own work of art and just the right size for an impulse buy. :) Wrapped well, shipped fast - nothing but praise. - P.S"
